Homecoming weekend was packed with activities involving everyone in the school. Friday night included the game as well as the class floats being presented, the court being announced, and the band performing. All of these events combined to make a very memorable night for a lot of students in the school.
The halftime show of the Homecoming game was one of the big events that occurred over the weekend. To start the show, the class floats were brought out. The sophomore class won the best float with their New Orleans themed float.
After the conclusion of the float parade, the court members were brought out onto the field and the king, queen, prince, and princess were all announced. The winners of prince and princess were Brad Smith for prince and Shelby Flannery for princess. The winners of the king and queen voting were our own Austin Price for king and for queen, Morgan Steinker.
To conclude the halftime show, the Wolves’ marching band performed …… As they played, the students in the stands all stood and clapped as the band hyped everyone up and brought in the second half of the game. This ending to the halftime show and eventual win against Loveland set the tempo for a fun and exciting Homecoming dance the next night on Saturday.
