West Clermont came out on top Friday night Taking the win from Walnut Hills. The two teams were tied 0 to 0 but the wolves quickly took the lead with a score of 7 to 0 by the end of the first quarter.
In the 2nd quarter the wolves Defense stopped Walnut hills from scoring any points whatsoever much like in the 1st quarter. West clermont ended the second quarter with two more points making the score 10 to 0 .
Things went a little different in the Third quarter though as walnut hills scored their first points of the game. The wolves also scored the same amount of points in this quarter so they sort of broke even. The score by the end of the third quarter was 17 to 7 With West Clermont still holding the lead by 10 Points.
On Friday September 27, Link Crew held an event called WolfGate. If you attended you were able to receive free food and do a bunch of activities as shown below.
The day before homecoming West Clermont always had a massive pep rally. We have games and competitions between all the grade, and we get very, very competitive.
This year’s games included, tug of war, dance battles, and the main attraction jousting.
Jousting was where the students were put to the test of balance.The school brought in a massive blow up ring with a wobbly lifted center, the players goal was to stay standing on the center as long as possible while they attempt to knock each other up with big blow up sticks.
The winners of the games ended up being the sophomores, winning both the tug of war and dance battle.
West Clermont’s Homecoming was Saturday, September 28th from 8-11 p.m. The theme was “Once Upon a Time”, so, of course, it was fairy tale themed. We’re gonna highlight some of the events of the night, including pictures of groups before the dance, the Homecoming Court, the decorations, and of course, the couples.
Whether you are a tourist or a resident of Cincinnati, there are various types of entertainment to always keep you on your feet. And since autumn comprises of many fan-favorites, such as Halloween, there are a lot of activities to keep you and your family excited for the season.
Parents are now starting to not label their children a specific gender. They are now starting to calling them “Theybies”. The meaning of “Theybies” is, “a baby who has been brought up in a gender-neutral way and not outwardly identified by its parents as either a boy or a girl. ‘Couples are deciding to raise their children as theybies instead of deciding their gender.” according to buzzword.
Children are always told to express themselves, letting these children express their own gender. Their parents and other identifying them as “Theybies” is a great way to set them up for success. Gender-neutral mean to applicable to both being male and female genders.
Winter is right around the corner and everybody wants to look fresh for school, outings, or even daily life. There are a lot of brands and shoes to choose from. Sometimes picking a pair of shoes can be hard because there are so many styles, brands, colorways, and shoes to choose from. Winter time is when a lot of the bulkier shoes are worn. With the “dad shoes” or older style of shoes becoming more and more popular every day there’s a lot of options.
On September 14, 2019, Saudi Arabia experienced an attack on one of its largest oil refineries. A drone was sent by the Yemeni Rebels, an Islamic political and armed movement, that exploded once it arrived at the oil facility. The Saudi Arabian oil attack resulted in oil prices across the globe surging in prices, up to ten cents per gallon, and the radical movement faced military action from an American drone. In fact, Iran was blamed for the attack, but no evidence has proved that Iran committed the attack.
There is one week remaining in the season and the NL wildcard as long as the NL Central is still up for grabs and we still don’t know who has the top 2 spots in the Wild Card where they will be fighting for a spot in the playoffs. There are 3 teams that have already clinched a spot in the Playoffs and those teams are the Atlanta Braves, The St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Braves and the Dodgers have already clinched their respected division but the NL central it’s the battle of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Cardinals for the battle for the NL central. This Race will go down into the final of the season and that will determine who is in and who is out.
