The fires have also been predicted to cause a massive rise in CO2 in the atmosphere. They have released 0.4 to 0.7 gigatonnes if CO2. Due to the months of the fire burning the yearly amount of CO2 has risen 2 percent. The fires are causing server weather all around Australia as well. There had been hail the size of golf balls and dust storms that lead into rain. The dust and rain combined mid-air and created a storm of mud, everything was covered.
