Over the last couple of months, the sports card market has boomed. Prices are sky-high across all sports, and it has become nearly impossible to find any product at retail price. This level of investment has not been seen since the 1990s and the demand back then caused most of the companies to go into overproduction, making most sports cards almost worthless from that time. Many people speculate that the companies are overproducing once again, but the empty shelves prove otherwise.
